You Are Who He Says You Are

"Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation; old things have passed away; behold, all things have become new." — 2 Corinthians 5:17

Your past may have shaped your story—but it doesn’t define your identity. The world may try to label you by your failures, flaws, or even your greatest mistakes. But God, through the New Covenant, has given you a new name and a new nature in Christ.

You are not what you did. You are not what others say about you. You are who God says you are.

A Brand-New Creation

When you placed your faith in Jesus, something supernatural happened. You weren’t just forgiven—you were reborn. The old you died, and a new you came alive. You now carry the righteousness of Christ, not as something you earn but as something you receive.

You are holy, blameless, accepted, and deeply loved—not someday, but right now.

Don’t Wear What Grace Took Off

One of the enemy’s greatest tricks is to keep you tied to an identity that Jesus already broke off. He’ll whisper: “You’re still the same,” “You’ll never change,” or “You’re not good enough.”

But those are lies. Grace has already rewritten your story. You don’t need to wear guilt like a badge. You don’t have to walk in shame like a shadow. You are free. You are new.

Today’s Reflection

Are there old labels or lies you’ve been carrying? Have you allowed your past to define your present?

Today, stand in the truth of the New Covenant: You are a new creation. The past has passed. Grace speaks a better word over you.

“Father, thank You that I am not my past. Thank You for making me new through Jesus. Help me walk in the identity You’ve given me—full of grace, full of freedom, and full of purpose. Amen.”
