From His fullness we have all received, grace upon grace.” — John 1:16
Not every miracle comes with lightning from heaven or a dramatic turnaround. Most of God’s miracles happen quietly, in the rhythm of our daily lives. A morning filled with peace. A kind word that lifts a heavy heart. Strength to keep going when we thought we had none left. These are miracles too — not because they defy nature, but because they reveal the grace of a loving Father at work in us.
Sometimes, we look for God only in the extraordinary, but He delights to show Himself in the ordinary. The same Jesus who multiplied bread also shared simple meals with His friends. The same Savior who walked on water also washed dusty feet. Every small act, every gentle moment of love, carried divine purpose. And through His Spirit, those same moments fill our lives today with quiet wonders.
Under the New Covenant, we don’t chase after miracles — we live in them. Christ in us is the miracle. His presence makes every ordinary day sacred. Every breath we take, every prayer whispered, every act of kindness is evidence of His grace flowing through us. The more we learn to see through the eyes of grace, the more we realize we are surrounded by countless little miracles every single day.
So pause for a moment today. Look around. The meal on your table, the laughter of a friend, the peace in your heart — they are all reminders that God is near. His grace fills the spaces we often overlook, turning the ordinary into something holy.
Father, thank You for the simple moments where Your grace shines the brightest. Help me see You in the small things — in quiet mornings, in laughter, in love. Teach me to live aware that every moment with You is a miracle of grace. Amen.
